Is this HIPAA-encrypted/compliant?
Yes. Protected Health Information (PHI) transferred via texting, by law, needs to be double-encrypted to fulfill the HIPAA-encryption requirements set forth by the Department of Health and Human Services. To meet these requirements, patients are required to download the Telegram Messenger App, which adds a 2nd extra layer of encryption when the encryption option is enabled. The 1st layer of encryption comes from a patient's password protected phone. If not password protected already, we highly recommend all patients password protect their phone to protect PHI.
Is the TXTONOMY™ chatbot platform registered with the FDA?

How many patients can I have on my chatbot at once?
There is no limit to the amount of patients you can have on a single chatbot module.
Will this replace my clinical personnel?
Chatbots decreases unnecessary, redundant communication, but actually facilitates essential patient-to-provider communication. TXTONOMY will provide on-demand education 24/7 and will alert your staff when your patient needs attention or has concerns.
What if my patients still want to speak to me or my clinical staff?
They can absolutely still do so. The chatbot provides your office contact information to make it even easier for your patients to contact your staff when needed.

What is the technology behind the chatbots?
